Tips That Work!

Let's get right down to it shall we!  Most affiliates do not make a dime!  The experts estimate that 90% make little or nothing.

How much money can you make?  Well we pay 40% on a $53 product.  That works out to $21.20 per sale. We have affiliates that make 1 sale per month and others who make 10 sales in a day! 

It is up to you how much you make.  Our home page converts targeted visitors at a rate of 2% to 10% into buyers.

We pay on the 20th of every month all commissions over $49.95.

So how do we help you become part of the 10% that make all the money?

Here is how.  Use this basic concept:

Get as many people as possible to
click on your affiliate link.
 

There are several ways to do that but the best ones are listed here so don't do anything but these things!

And by the way they are in order of effectiveness!
 

 10 ways to get your affiliate link clicked.......

1) Take your affiliate link and send it to your list.  Nothing works better than sending a solo recommendation to your own list. You will get as much as 3 times more sales when you send out a personal endorsement letter all by itself.
 

2) Create a joint venture with someone who has a list.  If you don't have your own list why not work with someone who does.  This method is simple.

Let person with the list share the 40% first tier commission you make. 

It may not seem like much but there are thousands of list owners out there looking for good products to sell to their subscribers.

Find them and either call them on the phone or send them a priority mail letter with all the details in it.  Don't rely on emailing them!  Trust me a phone call or a letter in a priority mail envelope works better.

3) Send our branded e-book or SPECIAL REPORT to your list if you have one.  We will customize an e-book or SPECIAL  REPORT with your link already in it and host it for you.  IF YOU HAVE A LIST!

4) Offline advertising works better than internet advertising.  Lots better!  You wouldn't believe me if I told you how much better so I won't. 

By offline I mean: Postcards, direct mail letters, classified ads in newspapers, conference calls, and telemarketing.  Contact me for help using these.

5) Run ads in Ezines. This is the simplest way to market online and it works pretty damn good.  My suggestion is to get a membership in the Directory of Ezines and use his data base to run promotions.

Online newsletters and ezines are the most targeted mediums to market in but it does take some organizing and set up work to make them work.

6) Pay per click advertising can be a gold mine if you can figure it out.  I have spent quite a lot of time on this area and have theories that I am testing right now.  I will keep you posted.

In the mean time Google Adwords is a cheap way to test your headlines and classified ads to see if they pull enough clicks to be considered good enough to put in an ezine promotion or offline promotion. A 2% or better click through rate is what you are looking for.

Overture is now owned by Yahoo so it is a great place to do pay per click advertising also.  The good part is they are cheaper than Google and easier to understand.  The bad part is Overture takes 3 to 5 days to approve your ads.

7) Put a text link on your website.  If you happen to have a very high traffic website then just put your affiliate link on your site and send traffic through it. 

There is a pre-made banner in the affiliate area but I recommend text links. It works best if you use some text that describes the product and links to your affiliate link.  Here is an example:

You can have your webmaster hide the affiliate link behind any phrase or text on your site like the above example and forget about the banner. Tests show that text links out do banners.

8) Use "Free Advertising"  By this I mean specifically press releases, free ezine classified ads and articles in ezines.  Use the Directory Of Ezine to help you with the ezines.  Go to prweb.com to do press releases.  Contact me for advice on how to do these.

9) Gary Halberts' website will teach you more about marketing than you can absorb mentally in this lifetime!  Unless you read his archives over and over several times like I have.  Need I say more?

10) Hide your affiliate link.  For many reasons that I don't want to get into  people don't like to click on funny looking links. 

So everyone has invented lots of ways to shrink them, mask them and hide them from view.  That is fine but......

I have a different take on the entire problem. What do people like to click on?  There is only 1 thing that the highest percentage of internet surfers click on without reservation.

Domain Names

So hide your affiliate links behind a domain name or and more people will click the link. The best thing to do by far is buy a domain name and host it then have it re-directed to your affiliate link.

By the way if the domain name clearly states what is on the site you will get even more clicks.  Call or email me because I might have some perfect domain names for our product already made and hosted!

EXAMPLES:

Our bestselling advertising copy is a simple recommendation or endorsement letter that strongly comments about individual personal success with the software. 

In other words, tell your prospects what our software did for you.
